It’s not my birthday. Not anymore. Some of you may have discovered that today is supposed to be my birthday. No longer. I’ve never really liked birthday hoopla, especially mine, so I’ve given my birthday to Scott and the folks at charity: water.
Seth is one of the most influential marketing mavens; he’s a popular blogger and the author of 12 best-selling books on how to unleash innovative and creative potential in any work environment. And he decided to donate to Charity:Water instead of get birthday presents for his 50th birthday.
Since he first blogged about it Saturday morning, Seth has raised more than $28,000 for clean water projects.
He wants to reach $50,000 — that’s enough to serve 2,500 people with clean, safe drinking water. See his campaign here.
